The welcome was excellent, dinner and breakfast were superb, it was quiet and very clean. Nothing was lacking; everything was perfect.

The breakfast was varied and generous, and the tables d’hôtes offered excellent cuisine. Nothing else to add.

The room had a double bed instead of two single beds to free up space around it, and the ceiling was too low on one side; during a heatwave a large fan would have been welcome.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay! Communication in German was very good, the hosts were a lot of fun and we laughed a lot. A real highlight was the kitchen: both dinner and breakfast were sensational, with explanations about each dish, how it was made, and where it came from, all either homemade or locally sourced. We rarely eat so well in a Chambre d’Hotes—no wonder, the chef was a cook and very good. That alone justifies any stay there.
