Everything at City Lodge is great! Owner Miss Mohini is incredibly helpful and behaves like a mother—she’s the best. The location is superb, the place is very clean, and I got everything I wanted. If you’re looking for a home in Mauritius, stay at City Lodge—it’s fantastic.

The host was extremely welcoming and helpful, and the spot was spot‑on for convenience—parking, a gas station, supermarket, fast‑food spot, bakery, and convenience store all within walking distance. There was hardly any noise, making for a quiet and cozy stay, and it felt safe for solo female travelers.

The welcome and location were great, but the washing machine made noise in the evening.

The room itself was acceptable, but the overall cleanliness left something to be desired.
