We stayed at a beautiful mas in the middle of nowhere, so it was very quiet and restful, yet close enough to Arles where we spent our days. The pool was wonderful, and the breakfast was amazing, served by the pool or wherever we wanted. The hostess—actually her daughter, not the usual owner—was extremely nice and accommodating. One thing that was hard was that we had to climb a high flight of stairs with our heavy luggage (I didn’t know that in advance, maybe I didn’t read properly). The other thing I didn’t like was the artificial room perfume that was diffusing – and I set that outside and it was fine. Then there was a misunderstanding with the cleaning crew that started loudly cleaning the nation next door at 8am (a little early for us), and then opened our door thinking we were gone… oops! All in all not a huge deal, after all this is a private home and they are doing this on the side. I was grateful for finding this place and it was overall very pleasant.

Warm welcome from Maria. Beautiful house and a pleasant, very clean, very comfortable, air‑conditioned room! Nice pool area and a typically Provençal, tree‑lined environment. Breakfast served by the pool, very generous and excellent value (10 euros). Special mention for the ability to access the pool at any time… that’s rare, so important to point out!

We liked the welcome, the quiet, the location in the middle of the countryside, the shaded flower gardens, and the refreshing pool during this summer’s heatwave. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything else to say!
