“Brilliant stay!”
Bridie is a super host who takes care of you and your needs; the house is spacious, clean, and practical, and the bedroom is just as tidy. We really enjoyed meeting Bridie, and Mary’s garden is fabulous and a delight to the eyes. Enjoy your stay!

A magnificent cottage surrounded by greenery, with the owner Mary being fantastic.
Handy for a Wedding in Farnham Estate.Its a 10/15mins car ride away so need your car or a taxi.Its about €25 in taxi. Double bed wasn't a full size double bed,mattress needs replacing.Only 1 pillow per person.Nowhere in bathroom to put wash bag,toiletries etc
The location was very quiet, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying beautiful views and a well‑kept garden. We especially appreciated Bridie’s friendly, close, and attentive service; she gave us useful information about local sights and was available at all times. Her hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. The only thing that could be improved is the kitchen organization, which was a bit messy and made it hard to find some utensils. Overall, the experience was very positive.

Birdie was a very pleasant host and the house was quiet and comfortable. The welcome and hospitality were lovely, and the place is easy to find, close to Cavan town. I would highly recommend it.
