The hotel is very nice, with a swimming pool and roomy rooms. The owner was extremely friendly and helped me explore the area, even taking me personally through the mountain forest. The food and staff were also very good. I was traveling by bicycle, and they arranged for me to clean my bike at the hotel. I would definitely return if I’m back in the area.

The pool is beautiful, the room is great with warm water, and the host is friendly. Finding the place was a bit difficult.

The accommodation is very nice and well maintained. The hotel and rooms are clean and not far from the center of Rakwana. It’s located in a quiet area. The bed was comfortable. The missing kettle was brought immediately. Unfortunately there is no mosquito net and there are open holes in the rooms that cannot be closed because of the high ceilings. We had an extreme amount of mosquitoes in the room—really unfortunate!

Sancruary is a very, very cozy place. The manager and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The town and surroundings offer a wealth of options, and the manager took us on a fantastic trip to a Buddhist temple located in the rainforest (remember to wear long pants because there are many needles). We stayed at the hotel for six days and got a lot out of the experience. I forgot to mention that they serve excellent food. Everything was fine.

The manager Dhammike was very kind, attentive, and helpful, offering interesting trips and giving solid advice on activities. The pool was very clean and calm. The bus stop and main road with good eateries are within walking distance. The room had AC and the neighborhood is quiet. On our first night we had a bit of a struggle with mosquitoes, but the staff solved the problem; mosquito nets in every room would be a great addition.
