The view of Yufusan straight ahead was cool, the facilities were clean and easy to use, and the staff were incredibly friendly—overall a great experience. Word spread among Koreans, and every guest happened to be Korean. The location was a bit lacking, but I used a rental car and had no trouble; the fact that it sits on a mountain slope means the view isn’t blocked, which offsets that drawback.

The bath and dinner were good, and the staff were kind and courteous, which I appreciated. However, the room faced the back side with no view, required lighting all day, and felt closed off; it was a twin room. The path to the bath had a slope that made it inconvenient. The location was only average; I wanted to explore more but ended up turning back.

Everything was perfect; the foreign staff greeted me with smiles and attentive service, the meals were outstanding—especially the spring‑fresh texture of the sashimi and the superb flavor of the steak, which must have been top‑grade fish and meat. It was an unforgettable stay and I’ll definitely return to Saiyaku‑kan. Thank you 😊. There were no negatives at all.

A beautiful hotel with private or shared onsens, gourmet cuisine, friendly and professional welcome, and a lovely view of Mount Yufu. Nothing to add.

Absolutely fantastic! The traditional hotel experience was superb, with perfect dinner and breakfast and all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The hot bath in the room is a whole new level of onsen enjoyment. Highly recommend!
