“Would not stay again”
The villa’s layout is nice, with a kitchen partly outside, and a large water tank in the kitchen was a pleasant surprise. However, cleanliness could have been better, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. I intended to cook, but the pans and other items were not in good condition or clean, and the dirty sponge supplied wouldn’t have helped. We were fortunate to receive a corner villa, so we avoided this problem, but other rooms were very exposed to other guests, with wall‑size windows overlooking a small garden where everyone passed by. The host speaks little English, making communication difficult. She assured us a moped would arrive in 15 minutes, but it took 75 minutes, and a friend of hers had to deliver it from the other side of Ubud. The location is hard to find and quite far from Ubud’s main roads.
