Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is central. There was nothing that we didn't like.

The harbor location is great. The building and outdoor area are very nice. Breakfast is extensive, with something for everyone. The bedroom doors to the hallway are thin, so when other guests change rooms at night it can be very noisy (we heard some door slamming on the weekend). The bathroom needs an update; a socket near the mirror would be nice.

The main house had a good location. We were housed in the annex, and the rooms were filthy—bathrooms were a catastrophe (not cleaned, with a toothbrush and beard hair from the previous guest). Hair on the floor, toilet, sink, and shower were uncleaned. Tiles were full of stains. Bed sheets and linens were generally stained. Wallpaper was dirty, and carpet edges were stained and full of spots. The floor was not vacuumed or cleaned. The cleaning lady swept the basement. In addition, my room (2nd floor) had an unbearable smell from the basement—an extremely musty odor. I’ve been a flight attendant for years and have stayed in many hotels, but this place was the worst.

Very nice accommodation and great staff, relaxed attitude toward guests… the Ahoi bar was excellent. Nothing to complain about.
