The room was lovely with a nice bathroom and shower. Dinner was excellent and good value for money. Evening entertainment by a local folk group was superb. Fantastic breakfast.

We liked pretty much everything. The only downside was that the location was a bit farther from the activity areas we wanted to visit, which were north of Ullapool; but since it’s the Highlands, that meant a few extra hours in the car each day, which is expected 😀

A truly incredible spot that feels like the edge of the world – the house and its furnishings are a bit dated, yet they radiate charm and liveliness!
