“Wunderbarer Aufenthalt!”

Minimalist, beautiful rooms in a former monastery, very quiet. The church bells nearby took us back to childhood, ringing last at 23:00 and then again in the morning. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any question. Breakfast varied, usually served in the romantic garden; eggs, ham, salami, and cheese could be customized on request. I’d suggest mosquito repellent spray and staying on the upper floor for a bit more privacy. Parking is safe across from the church, and you can refill your water bottle for free there. Nothing negative.

“Luxury modern facilities in old-world charm”

Our room in the old monastery was huge and comfortable, with everything needed for a luxurious overnight stay. The monastery feels like a sanctuary of calm, enhanced by the church bells next door and the choir singing mass. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the beautiful garden and paid extra for the “apericene” meal on arrival evening, which was beautifully presented and a perfect welcome. The hosts were friendly, taking time to explain the food and the history of their lovely place. The local historic centre is just a few minutes walk away with a selection of restaurants. We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer.
