Keight Hotel Opatija

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. I especially liked the hotel’s décor—everything was nice and modern, and cleanliness was high. The staff were courteous and helpful, and breakfast was tasty and varied. What I didn’t like was the hotel’s approach, which isn’t very convenient, and the lack of space to leave a car. Additionally, parking costs 30 € per day, which I find quite high.

The hotel’s tidiness and cleanliness were impressive. Rooms were nicely and modernly furnished. The bathroom was lovely. The accommodation is in the city center, close to everything. The bar and small rooftop pool are wonderful. Breakfast was varied. However, the 5‑star wellness section was very modest—only two small saunas. The pool was very clean but the water was cold. I didn’t like dinner at all. The à la carte menu takes a long time, about 1.5 hours. There are 5–6 options for starters, main courses, and desserts; you pick one of each. The ingredients are fresh, but everything takes too long.

The gentleman greeted us right at the hotel entrance and guided our car into the garage, explaining the whole hotel concept and making us feel immediately welcome; I must emphasize how clean the hotel is!

The photo on the website doesn’t match the hotel’s location. The building is beautiful and the staff are extremely professional, but unfortunately it’s in a very unfortunate spot. In front of a coach parking lot and next to a decaying structure a few meters away. Shame.
