Hotel Central La Fainera Superior

The room was spacious and offered a lovely view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Dinner was enjoyable, and the staff at check‑in and the dinner evening were friendly and spoke good English. The location was perfect for me, right next to the natural park and the alpine passes. Only a few staff members spoke English, which caused a slight wait at times, but it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel’s parking lot is too small and cramped; fortunately the village is quiet, so I could park on the street, but that might be a problem during peak season.

“Magnifique”

The building was magnificent with superb furniture quality. The sauna was very cozy, the food excellent, the receptionist superb, and the staff professional and cheerful. A nice biscuit in the room served as a welcome touch. The water pitcher in the room was empty, and it would be good for Google to update the exact location in the village.

“Gut”

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some rooms, as shown in the photos, were newly renovated, cozy, and featured great new bathrooms. Our room unfortunately was not like that; it was not clear from the booking that our room wasn’t renovated, and it had an old bathroom with a shower curtain. Photos of the old bathroom were not available, and there was no price difference. This disappointed us.

The house is tastefully and cozily furnished, and the scent of Arvenholz relaxes you from the moment you arrive. I was also greeted so warmly for the first time in a long while, and all the staff took excellent care of their guests. Thank you very much for that!

“Can’t wait to come back.”

Everything was perfect. The location was ideal for nice excursions. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing I didn’t like.
