The staff were incredible, especially Jim at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The bathroom had a smell, though.
The hotel was solid overall, giving me a good experience.

The place sits right across the beach and super close to the airport, making it a breeze for travelers; there are plenty of eateries around and Male city is a quick hop. I felt safe with a key‑locked solid door and reception was usually staffed and friendly. Manager Jim was very welcoming, even lending me money for a bike when I was short on cash, and gladly helped me plan trips and book transport. He chatted with me about continuing my Sri Lanka adventures and recommended spots to visit. The only downside was that the website’s gallery over‑promises the view; if you’re lucky you see the ocean, otherwise it’s just a wall. I didn’t spend much time in the room, but the lack of natural light made it feel a bit cavernous.
