The location was superb, surrounded by lush green Karen with plenty of bird song and close to everything I needed. I normally stay in Nairobi for up to 5 weeks at a time, and this was my first visit; I definitely found my return spot. The hosts were kind, friendly, and caring. I adored the cottage I stayed in, the Lamu bed, and the interior furniture. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect!

It was clean, the bed was great, and the essentials were present and of good quality. There were no issues. The construction work nearby was a little unsettling; we just wished there had been a notice, but otherwise everything was fine and we enjoyed the stay together.

The studio sits on the grounds of a large villa, is beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was really big, the wifi worked perfectly, and the staff were lovely, helpful, and easy to talk to. The area is very green, with cute cafes, restaurants, and shops. If we visit Nairobi again, we’d love to stay at Makyo again! Absolutely nothing to dislike.
