The place was quiet, well‑located, had air conditioning, a small kitchen with a fridge, a drying rack, and a tiny terrace full of plants. The staff were friendly and they offered free water. A cockroach appeared, but with that kind of setup it’s expected; we were given a bug spray as soon as we mentioned it.

The garden was nice and the laundry service at the front was reliable, with staff who helped with everything else. The bungalow itself was fine and tap water was always available. The double bed was made of two single beds pushed together, leaving a big gap in the middle. For some reason the mattresses—already hard like most in Southeast Asia—were wrapped in plastic, which made every movement audible and uncomfortable. We booked the bungalow for a day when a big village party was happening right behind it, so the loud music from the speakers on the back wall (which is paper‑thin) made us shout inside the bungalow and everything vibrated. Earplugs didn’t help, so we had to book another room that night and pay twice. Even though the bungalow itself was okay, we realized that for the same price there are more comfortable options.
