The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the bed was very cozy, and it was a short walk from the station. The hotel does not accept luggage after check‑in, so we had to run to the Tokyama station lockers to find a spot, but every slot was full, which was a big hassle and we had to bring our luggage with us to the shrine.

The reception staff called out to us when we were leaving. The foreign cleaning staff gathered in large numbers in front of the elevator, leaving sheets and other items scattered around, which was very surprising.

The station and tram stops were close, making it convenient to go anywhere, and there were plenty of restaurants around. I was glad there was a microwave. It would have been nice to have a tea‑bag coffee shop; even if it was paid, that would have been fine.
