The rooms were beautiful, the location was good, and the dinner was excellent. The breakfast could have had a bit more variety.
“Parfait”
The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly, and free bottled water was available at all times in a self‑serve station. The half‑board meals were tasty and varied, with two dishes offered each day. The location on the outskirts gave us a stunning view, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay and would gladly return. The breakfast buffet could use a bit more variety, like scrambled eggs or a wider cheese selection, but that’s just nitpicking at a high level.
The room had noticeable stains from a water damage incident.

A sauna is available, and the view from the bed overlooking the mountains is superb. The hosts and their staff are very friendly, and there’s a bus connection right outside to Umhausen. Everything inside and around the hotel is very clean. The only downside is the informal atmosphere; the stream (Stuibenbach) passing by the hotel makes a noticeable noise, so those who are sensitive to sound should close the windows at night.
