Solar power and a burning toilet, plus TV and everything was incredibly clean and nice. The hosts were also very welcoming, and there was the possibility to fire outside and inside. There’s nothing to complain about because everything was very, very good.

“Lovely cabin in the woods”

A charming cabin tucked in the woods, spotlessly clean and cozy. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a separate toilet room. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful, and they even supplied a cot and highchair for our toddler.

This cabin is a small oasis in the middle of nowhere, right in the forest with a few lakes nearby that are easy to walk to. Inside, there’s a little wood stove with firewood ready, solar panels for electricity, and a gas stove for cooking. Fresh water comes in a canister, and there’s also rainwater outside. The toilet is a Cinderella toilet that runs on gas and burns everything that goes in, so it works like a normal toilet. If you’re looking for a few days of quiet, this place is perfect—you can fully enjoy Norway’s peace and stunning nature. The hosts are both very warm people who are immediately available if something comes up. The cabin stands alone, so you’re on your own. A real hidden gem. Thanks for the lovely days. We’ll definitely come back.

The location, modern and tasteful interiors, conveniences like Wi‑Fi and a proper toilet, and the ability to light a fire both outside and inside are all great.
