The owner and staff were fantastic—friendly and helpful. The accommodation is close to the city centre, about a 9‑10 minute walk. Both the room and the common areas were very clean. Thanks for a pleasant overnight stay!

Spotlessly clean and quiet. Shared facilities are good: bathrooms and showers are individual with locks. The big kitchen lets you store and cook your own food. The whole place is spacious. I checked in early without any issues. I highly recommend Laplanders to budget travelers who want to visit Kiruna or go on excursions outside the city. The host will store your luggage for free before and after your stay, even overnight between bookings while I was on a wilderness tour just outside Kiruna. The location is a short walk from the new city centre and two bus stops (including the airport bus stop). But if you don’t have a car, be ready to walk a lot because the nearest grocery shop is a bit far.

It was perfect. The accommodation is simple but well equipped, very clean. The owner was friendly, helpful, and interesting. Even with the short time we spent there, he showed us his culture and work. The staff were attentive, the common room was well equipped and great for chatting with others. Nothing to complain about. The courtyard entrance might make you doubt whether there really is a hidden guesthouse behind it, but that’s not a concern.
