“Hart aber schön”

The location right in the old town was great. Even though the hotel sat in the middle of the city, the courtyard and rooms stayed quiet enough that we barely heard the city outside. The courtyard area was very pleasant. The rooms, however, were fairly dark and our two single beds felt as hard as a board.

The spot inside the old city was perfect, especially for travelers who enjoy strolling.

The place was pleasant and clean with good service, the room was basic but met my needs, but the shower was a problem.

The pillows and the bed felt quite comfortable, the air‑conditioning worked well and the pool was pleasant, while the location was great – just a two‑minute walk to the Sunday night market; even without an elevator the overall vibe still felt very resort‑like. However, housekeeping sometimes missed rooms even when the “do not disturb” sign was up, the bathroom only has a half‑pane glass separating the shower from the toilet so water often splashes out and the water pressure is weak with lukewarm hot water, the laundry machine took coins but never started – thankfully a staff member rode a bike to a 24‑hour laundromat for me – the rooms are poorly insulated for sound, and the breakfast reservation process was confusing and unappealing.

I stayed on the third floor and the room was spacious and comfy, and the hotel is right in the heart of the old town. The pool was a nice spot to cool off, and we even added two extra nights. Parking in front of the hotel was free and super handy for our rental car.
