We loved the warm, passionate welcome from our hosts in their magnificent home, their availability and helpful advice, the comfort of the room, Frédéric’s beautiful garden, and Marie Hélène’s excellent breakfast. Nothing else.

I’m sorry for the late review; please excuse it. I only have good things to say—short stay but very pleasant. The vibe created by the hosts is very friendly.

A beautifully renovated farmhouse with tasteful décor, the hosts were genuinely welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding; we loved everything about our stay at La Grange Symphorine. Nothing negative.

The location is excellent between Dordogne and Vézère, and La Grange truly feels “in the countryside” with lovely rural views. The room’s comfort is largely 4‑star worthy, and we received the largest room with more natural light than the smaller ones. The website should add a descriptive distinction between the two rooms, noting a price difference of about €15.00. Service and hygiene could improve: linen and towels are changed only once a week, guests must dispose of trash in municipal bins, and only one toilet roll per week is provided for two people—nothing more (this is really the case). The duvet is too warm during the off‑season and especially in summer (no alternative). The kettle is not in the room but in the noisy breakfast hall and must be shared. The comfort shown on the site does not match the limited service. Homemade jams, cakes, and biscuits were delicious, but four weeks without cheese, meat spreads, or croissants dampened our enthusiasm.
