It was nice that we could buy local wine from Madame, but staying felt like living in a flea market. It was uncomfortable and odd, and I struggled to eat breakfast. The bedding was just sheets, no fitted sheet, so I ended up sleeping with a blanket.

I loved the quiet spot right in the city center and the breakfast was spot‑on; the reception was super friendly and dinner was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

We were well taken care of, and even in the evening you can eat there. The Atelier Du Peintre has a lot to see, with Fabienne’s collection of old dishes, glass, and art, and she speaks English.
