Breakfast was very good and the location was top. However, during our wedding trip we were assigned room 109, which offered a severely limited lake view because of a large concrete block; this room should have been priced lower and guests warned about the view. The disappointment was significant.

The location was great and the hotel was very dog friendly. I was impressed by the cooked breakfast prepared while I waited, and the fresh orange juice from the juicer was a hit; everything else was average. It lacked a restaurant or bistro‑style spot that served simpler food—some guests might not want a Michelin‑style option. The car park was a good five‑minute walk away, and luckily I had a disabled parking badge so I could park close to the hotel for two of the three nights.
