An elderly lady greeted us warmly. The place can accommodate up to four people (two double beds), has a large kitchen‑resting room and a separate bathroom. There was no heating at the time, so it was a bit chilly, but the owner supplied extra blankets and we were fine. Like most privately owned spots, it’s simple and the maintenance is basic, but it’s worth the price you pay.

The hosts were very friendly and I felt especially comfortable; I would definitely come back for another holiday anytime.

A very pleasant spot near Braszów, it could serve as a great base. The room is spotless, the bathroom is fine, and there’s a small kitchen in the hallway. There’s a microwave and an electric stove, but no pots (we brought our own). There’s a coffee machine but no kettle; you can heat water for tea in the microwave. One or two nights are just right for exploring the city and surroundings.

The area is pretty. The place was indescribably awful: no air conditioning, dirty towels, and we had to leave immediately… fortunately there are other great guesthouses in the area; they didn’t even refund us.
