The room turned out to be wider and more comfortable than I expected, and the mattress had just the right firmness. There was no interference, so it was easygoing. I appreciated the heads‑up about breakfast, which was also very tasty. The fridge in the room having water was a nice touch. The only downside was that there were only two slippers for the outdoor bath.

The stay felt homely, close to Mt Omuro, and there was private access to the onsen. However, the residential estate meant limited space to explore nearby, and the food options were restricted to predetermined choices.

The hotel was very comfortable! At first I worried about the transport, but if you check the bus times ahead, it’s fine, and the hotel is close to the sights and restaurants, with beautiful surroundings that make for interesting walks. The decor is vintage, clean, and pretty, showing the host’s care in decorating and maintaining. The hot spring was cozy, and breakfast was good. The host was friendly, patient, and polite, and even asked about my itinerary and helped me to my destination; I’d like to thank him sincerely but don’t know how to say it in Japanese. This hotel made my trip to Izu perfect, and for me it was great value; if I had more time I’d stay a few more days. I’ll choose it again if I come to Izu next time.
