The staff were super friendly and welcoming
This place has a lot going for it - it's a traditional ryokan with an onsen, restaurant, shop, and beer bar all under one roof
The hotel itself was spotless
The hotel's location is perfect - the onsen, theater, and beer hall are all within walking distance.

“pleasant and restful”
I was really impressed with the breakfast spread here - it was top-notch. The onsen was also a highlight, a great way to unwind after a long day. The only thing that let it down was the noise from the nearby road, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
The staff were really helpful and accommodating. That's about it, to be honest.
“A good ryokan onsen complex”
This place has a lot going for it - it's a traditional ryokan with an onsen, restaurant, shop, and beer bar all under one roof, which was a nice surprise. It was also lovely and calm, with snow falling outside, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. However, the onsen itself was a bit outdated, and the facility was a bit pricier than some other ryokans in Japan.
The room was spacious, and the front desk staff were super friendly. The price was reasonable, and the hot spring was amazing. However, it's a bit far from the train station, but driving there made it easier.
The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and it showed in every interaction. The food selection was impressive, and my beer-loving companion was happy with the all-you-can-drink option. We even got to experience the New Year's atmosphere with the osechi and ozouni. However, the one downside was the lack of heating in the connecting hallway to the hot spring building, which made it feel like we were in the middle of a snow-covered landscape.
