“Séjour agréable”

The welcome was warm and they gave us a refreshment on arrival; a bottle of wine and a plate of fruit were waiting in the room. The staff were very pleasant and kind. The room was great, the bedding comfortable, and the meals were also good. I didn’t like the shower seals, they were moldy and black. For a place of this level, that shouldn’t happen. Another issue was the soundproofing – we could hear other guests and outside noise, maybe the window seals had failed. I was in room 314.

The room was modern and had a private pool, but I paid a lot for it, so the accommodation had to be good at least. The service was poor throughout the 7 nights. It’s a decent 4‑star hotel, but it doesn’t live up to its 5‑star rating on many levels.

“A very enjoyable stay made especially memorable by genuinely wonderful people who went above and beyond to make things r”

The staff made our stay memorable. We arrived after midnight, yet the reception team welcomed us warmly and helped with luggage, showed us to our room and explained everything. They even had water, fruit, a welcome bottle of champagne and snacks ready, which was very thoughtful. The next morning, Alexandra at reception listened to our concerns, connected us with Katerina, the Assistant Manager, who went above and beyond, moving us to the newer sister property. Dora at the restaurant and bar was also great – always friendly, attentive, and helpful whenever we came back for dinner, drinks or evening shows. The newer suites were a big upgrade, with a fantastic pool, spacious rooms, lovely views, and good food. We also enjoyed the live music and entertainment throughout our stay. The original property felt a bit dated and didn’t quite match the 5‑star expectation. Even in the newer suite, we had a couple of maintenance issues – the door locked us inside twice and a glass handrail on the stairs was loose. The team fixed them, but they slightly marred an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

“A Perfect Place to Relax!”

Even though our stay was short, we had a wonderful experience at Castello Boutique Resort; it’s a beautiful, elegant, and peaceful hotel, perfect for anyone looking to escape and relax. The spa was exactly what we needed—a wonderful experience that helped us completely unwind. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and we’d love to return for a longer stay.
