The room and facilities were excellent, with super comfy beds and a neat addition of a private terrace
The serene atmosphere of the hotel was a major draw for me

The Lodge Friendly opens onto a garden‑view terrace with a private entrance and a fully equipped kitchen—including refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee machine, and outdoor dining area. It sleeps four guests with two bedrooms, offers one crib, provides linen, a wardrobe or closet, a desk, socket near the bed, safety deposit box, hand sanitiser, and outdoor furniture on the ground floor. Two private bathrooms feature showers, and the unit is fitted with single‑room air‑conditioning, heating, soundproofing, a flat‑screen TV, and free Wi‑Fi.

“Joli mais pourrait mieux faire”
Overall, the estate was decent. The bungalows were almost new, rooms comfortable, with a nice veranda‑kitchen and a lovely terrace with lounge chairs. Special shout‑out to the well‑kept vegetation, especially given 2026’s drought. The surroundings of both pools were very beautiful. The greenery grew better than the site photos, even better than the pictures. Inside the estate, nothing to complain about: it’s truly pretty and welcoming. The downside: children under 2 are not allowed in the small “Cosy” bungalows, even if your baby sleeps in your bed; you must book the “Lovely” category at an extra 15 euros. The kitchen is split in two, with one part in the bathroom (dishware, microwave, coffee machine) and the rest in the outdoor veranda, which is inconvenient because you have to keep passing through the room with the dishware. There’s no sea or Rhône view, and only half the bungalows look at one of the two pools. You need to climb the (nice) rooftop for a view. According to the website, check‑in (and reception) closes at 21:00 from June to September, but on 18 September we were told to arrive before 20:00, not 21:00. We finally arrived at 19:45 and the entrance gate was already closed… Same for the swim lane: reception said it closed at 20:00 (so we didn’t go there in the evening), while the access barrier sign actually read 21:00, as we discovered the next morning! The natural pool was unfortunately closed during our one‑night stay, which wasn’t mentioned on the site (they warn it can close occasionally for regeneration, but don’t specify when), even though it’s heavily highlighted in the photos… We were disappointed. We settled for the swim lane.
We were upgraded to a large lodge with two showers, two toilets, a 20 m² lounge, an outdoor kitchen, and a big terrace. There was also a bathtub on the bedroom terrace 😃. Nothing else. The pool water temperature was a bit off 😆.
The lodges were very clean and well designed. Nothing to criticize. I recommend it. No complaints.
“Véritable oasis pour amoureux de la nature.”
The reception was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very independent, fully comfortable, clean, and well‑arranged. The place was a true haven of peace. The amenities—whether in the lodging, at the reception shop, or available (swimming pool, natural pool, play areas…)—were all excellent. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.
“Un lieu confortable où le temps s'arrête.”
Everything was perfect! The setting feels timeless. I didn’t expect to relax there because we were there for a horse‑related activity, but we enjoyed the facilities, the natural pond, and the swim lane. The bedding was especially pleasant and the lodging was very clean. Add to that a beautiful setting and absolute tranquility, and I’ll definitely return to unwind.
