The location was great on the beachfront and within walking distance to the centre. The room size and location were not ideal.

The room had a front garden and a view from the bed directly onto the sea. Simply fantastic! There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

“Great location, but too loud and too expensive”

We stayed three days in this hotel – the only hotel in the centre of Cape Coast by the sea. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the food was good. The big question is: does this hotel want to be a party place or an expensive hotel? The owners and management should seriously ask themselves: Do we want to be a cool bar/restaurant with loud music from two different speakers – conversations impossible most nights – or a pricey hotel? The room prices are very high, even for West African standards. And beware: depending on the website, there are very different prices. If you are okay to hear loud music until midnight (you hear it clearly in your room), this hotel is for you. However, then dear management, you honestly MUST decrease the room prices. The facilities, food and location do not justify the high prices. We expected it to be better. Also: Drinks at breakfast are NOT included, very strange and very untypical.

I skipped breakfast after the first night and never tried it again. When I asked why my omelet lacked veggies, I was told I’d have to pay extra for vegetables in my omelet.

Super room. Great terrace and location. Helpful staff, good food. The day‑tours driver. The wait to be served was a bit long. People outside the hotel who aren’t guests were allowed to stick around with the clients.
