The new accommodations were spacious and airy, with a large comfortable bed; we stayed in the blue chalet with a balcony overlooking the forest, and the host Mário was very kind and helpful, making us feel at home; the breakfast was tasty, served well, with options for omelette or scrambled eggs, and my wife and I enjoyed our one day there – highly recommended, no complaints or suggestions.

Mario and Marlene welcomed us and turned the stay into something special; the lodge sits in a quiet complex a few minutes from the main street of Serra do Cipó and offers chalets of various sizes. Our chalet had a very comfortable bed, a table, chairs, a hammock, a mini‑fridge, an open wardrobe and a full private bathroom, plus a second table with two chairs on the balcony; parking was private. The breakfast was customized with good coffee, pão de queijo, cakes, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs and great stories! The only downside was that this stay was too short, just one day :( I’ll book more days next time to stay in this wonderful place with such a special couple.

We liked everything about the lodge, from the host Mario’s warm reception that made us feel at home right away. The new lodge is well maintained and beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, very cozy, the breakfast is excellent with plenty of fruit and homemade treats, and we enjoyed a good chat with Mario. Everything was perfect!
