The location was good and the staff were excellent, but staying felt like being at your grandparents’ house; the room seemed untouched for 20 years, the shower was awful with no temperature control, the wallpaper was thin, the headboard rattled against the wall the first night, and we could hear the neighbors’ entire conversation. We had to tiptoe around the bed to avoid knocking the TV off the wall, and the price was high for the standard of the room.

The location is superb—right in the market square, with pubs and restaurants just a short walk away.

The overall condition of the hotel was excellent, we enjoyed a lovely dinner and a great breakfast, the hotel’s location was very good, and all the staff were brilliant. The only drawback was the bedroom we received: it was very dated and cramped, with only about six inches of space at the bottom of the bed to reach the bathroom, and the television was positioned in that same six‑inch gap, making us worry about damaging it while passing.

The breakfast was excellent, but the bathroom looked tired, had poor lighting, and the bedroom lacked a mirror for ladies to do hair and makeup.
