Everything was terrible: black mould, loose door knobs, an unclean bathroom, a dirty spa, a cold room, no extra blankets except a single duvet for a queen bed, dark and dingy. The window coverings weren’t long enough to cover the actual windows. There was only one small fan heater for heating, no TV, and the facilities were gross. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

“The room and location were excellent and met my needs”

The private spa room in your own room was very comfortable, but a simple fix was needed: a light bulb had to be replaced, which was done when I asked.

It was closed when we arrived; nothing to like, no communication at all. Everything was a disappointment.

“Permanently closed - do not book”

Property is no longer open. Turned up after paying the week before. When we turned up it was closed down and there was a notice on the reception door saying that it was permanently closed. We were not advised of it earlier so had to find alternate accommodation that night upon arriving in Taupō. Thanks for helping sort this out. Property is no longer open. “Utter filth.Wod never stay the ever again”

There was nothing positive at all. The place was downright filthy, with black mold in the bathroom. The walls and mirrors still bore the previous guest’s smudges, and there were no face cloths. The dishes were dirty. The ceiling sagged from a past leak, and paint was peeling onto the floor. Half of the wall behind the fridge and under the bench was missing. A health department would shut this down if they saw it.
