As a frequent Hilton guest, I have stayed at Hilton Istanbul Maslak four times over the past four months, primarily because of its convenient location. My first stay was excellent and fully deserved five stars on all levels. Unfortunately, my subsequent three stays have been considerably less satisfactory. One recurring issue was the condition of the toilet brushes in the rooms. On multiple occasions, they were clearly used, which I found unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. I repeatedly requested brand-new, unused replacements. I even contacted the hotel before my arrival to make this request in advance. Unfortunately, despite these repeated requests, the issue was never properly addressed. Another significant issue occurred during my stay last month, when the room safe was not functioning. As a result, throughout the entire five-day stay, we had no secure place to store our passports, cash, keys, and other valuables and had to carry these items with us at all times. Despite reminding the staff every day, the issue remained unresolved throughout our stay. What I find most disappointing is not simply that these problems occurred, but that repeated requests from guests were not followed up with effective solutions
