The place is a bit far, so you have to ride the tram everywhere. True, there are cafés around and a small shop nearby. The service was excellent, clean, and tidy. Breakfast wasn’t in the hotel café; it was in a nearby café. They only had one kettle and a coffee pot, so you had to go into town to eat properly.

The apartment is bright and not far from the center. When we booked, it said there was free parking, but upon arrival we were told to pay 29 € per day for parking. There is free parking on the island nearby! The air conditioner barely worked, and on the last day it wasn’t even on. The mini‑fridge didn’t cool anything.

“Good location, but serious room issues and several advertised services did not match reality”

The location was convenient and close to the metro. The room itself was clean, the bed comfortable, and the check‑in instructions were clear. Communication via WhatsApp was generally quick for practical matters. The gentleman at the café where breakfast was provided was also extremely friendly, and our criticism about breakfast isn’t directed at him or the café. Unfortunately, the positives were outweighed by several serious issues. The biggest problem was the air conditioning: during our entire first night it didn’t work properly, the room stayed around 28 °C and reached about 31 °C the next morning. We specifically booked with air conditioning because of the high temperatures in Milan, so this severely affected our sleep. The AC was replaced the next day and worked during the second night, but that didn’t undo the first night’s discomfort. There was also a serious issue with the entrance door to our room. Although the sliding door could technically be locked, the frame around the lock was badly damaged, cracked, and partly loose. It felt extremely fragile and did not give us confidence that the room was properly secure. We reported this, but it was not repaired during our stay. When the bathroom extractor fan was switched on, there was a strong mould‑like smell. We could hear guests in the neighbouring rooms quite clearly as well. Several advertised services turned out to be different in practice. Breakfast was not served at the accommodation but at an external café. This was not made clear to us beforehand. We had paid extra for breakfast, but what was provided was simply a coffee, croissant, and glass of water. Again, the café owner himself was extremely friendly and is not responsible for how the accommodation advertises the breakfast. Free luggage storage was also advertised, but on the morning of check‑out we were told that luggage could not actually be stored at this property. We had to take it to another Aiello location elsewhere in Milan. This worked out practically for us, but it is disappointing when a service advertised for the accommodation is not actually available there. We stayed for two nights in total, with the second night added separately after our original reservation.

“De 15 a 20 minutos andando até o centro”

The place was clean, but the breakfast didn’t live up to the voucher. We had to go to a café the voucher suggested, and it was basically worthless. The croissant was already gone, and all we could choose was a coffee or a half‑milk. It was a terrible experience, far below what we expected.

The room is very cozy, clean and quite. It has everything I needed and more, like the fridge, a coffee and a tea maker etc. It is is safe and central location. The bed and bathroom were excellent. It has great internet. The staff was great. The breakfast was in the bar nearby. Although the staff in the bar are great, the breakfast is only a croissant and a coffee, so I definitely overpaid when I booked the bed and breakfast. Next time I am booking it without the breakfast
