“Charmantes Hotel in zentraler Lage”

Charming hotel in a prime city centre location, also within a few minutes on foot from the main station. I liked the Art Deco style. I had a single room that was more than enough for two nights. The air conditioning was a real blessing. I would definitely come back. However, the reception was often unstaffed during the day, so you had to wait a long time for someone to arrive. The TV didn’t work and several lamps flickered badly. The breakfast was added later and, in my opinion, was too expensive at 20 €.

A major water damage in the room, the bathroom light didn’t work, and there was a constant beeping sound in the room. The issues could not be reported because the reception was unstaffed for two days.

The location is very central and the room furnishings are good, but the hallway and elevator were dirty, it seems there is no cleaning staff, the reception was unoccupied, a loud party from a carnival club was happening next to the hotel, and we couldn’t sleep until about 3 am.

The hotel sits in a very central location, within walking distance of the main station, and public transport is easy to reach; the courtyard‑side room is very quiet and had air conditioning.
