“Fantastic accommodation in central Sorrento”
The place is fantastic, right in central Sorrento. I made a mistake by not reading the fine print, and one of the reasons I booked was the swimming pool, but I didn’t notice that it’s seasonal and had closed the week before we arrived.
“Recommend to anyone”
It was a walking distance, and there was nothing else to note.
The breakfast was very good, and we ate it on the terrace that comes with our room. The lady who served the breakfast was very kind and helpful. We were told there was a pool, but because of the short opening hours we never got to use it, and a swim cap should have been provided. The air conditioning barely blew anything—certainly not cold. The bathroom was a bit used, and mold was visible in several places. In terms of value for money, I don’t think it was worth it.
The location and coffee were good, but the breakfast was not fresh—stale sandwiches and croissants that were days old. It didn’t feel worth the money. We had no check‑in details; we had to email when we got there. The bed had a big foam mattress that was very uncomfortable. Our rubbish wasn’t taken out, and we could have used a fridge and facilities to make tea and coffee.
“I paid more than the value of the service i received.”
I booked a Triple Room with one queen bed, one twin bed, and a balcony, but they gave us a different room that only had the queen bed and no balcony. When I tried to ask, there was no one there—just the person who cleans the room.
