The place was calm and tranquil, but the renovation left the paint unfinished, the shutters non‑functional, and the pool window sealed.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious; the bathroom had a nice shower, and we could store our bicycles securely in the garage. The pool was pleasant, breakfast was a typical French spread, and the location on a quiet road let us stroll back into the main village via a lovely path beside a lake. The host was very friendly, gave us a tour of the property, and was welcoming; we’d stay again if we’re in the area. Plenty of parking for cars too. The only downside is it’s about a 20‑minute walk to the main part of the village, which some may like or not.

The house was very pretty, spacious, bright, and impeccably clean; the large covered pool was a highlight, and the breakfast was generous. The only issue was the lack of sound insulation with the neighboring room.

The location was excellent, the large house was great for hosting children and grandchildren, and the pool was a bonus – we had a fantastic family stay. The host was attentive and available, and we’re very grateful. No complaints.
