It’s a convenient spot for everything downtown, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. The only downside was that breakfast could use some improvement.

The place sits in a great spot and the views are stunning, breakfast was solid, and the valet and restaurant teams were super friendly and helpful. The rooms could use a makeover; the furniture feels dated and the blinds barely work. Finding the laundry was a hassle because the signs were missing and the machines only accept quarters—no change machine, and the front desk can’t make change either. Who still carries $5 in quarters? The front desk was understaffed during peak check‑in, with just one person who wasn’t friendly, welcoming, or helpful, and she forgot to hand us our free breakfast vouchers or welcome champagne. I blamed her for being overwhelmed, but even later she didn’t improve. The rooms lack an info booklet that would point out the ice machines, laundry, and free lobby coffee, which the staff didn’t mention at check‑in. The restaurant serves breakfast daily, but lunch and dinner are only Wednesday to Sunday, and that schedule wasn’t clearly communicated before or at check‑in.

The room was big, bright, and gorgeous, and the beds were super comfy. The parking valet crew was fantastic—kind and helpful. The little shop in the lobby was handy, and the manager was thoughtful enough to comp a bottle of sparkling water when I pointed out it hadn’t been charged at checkout. The Bluetooth in the bathroom kept spouting unintelligible messages at first, which was unnerving, and then it became a bit annoying. The luggage carts are clunky and hard to steer, but they’re a lifesaver since there are no bellhops. The room’s shades were a bit worn and some were coming off their tracks, but they still did the job of blocking daytime sun and nighttime city lights.

The location is excellent, breakfast is tasty, servers are friendly, and valet service is prompt and courteous.
