“Fine for a quick stay”

The breakfast was good, but the floor was soaking wet and mold appeared near the air conditioner because water leaked onto the carpet, making the room smell awful; the staff was nice and moved us to a different room.

The room and hallways were clean and bright, well lit, and seemed relatively new or updated; the bed felt a bit too firm, which is a matter of preference, yet I slept great; the bathroom looked new with no cracks or worn tiles, making it a great room for a great night's sleep, though getting in and out of the parking lot was awkward, which is also a preference.

“I don’t plan to stay here again”

It felt nostalgic, reminding me of stays with my parents when I was in college, bringing back memories; however, the elevator smelled extremely bad, the room didn’t cool down, the air conditioning struggled, the floors were sticky with visible spill residue that wasn’t cleaned up, and people were slamming doors all night long well after sunrise, as if no one else could be staying or sleeping there.

The shower provided cold water, not too warm or hot, and the room temperature was good at 70°, which I liked; the only downside was that the room didn’t darken even after turning all the lights off.
