We really liked how spacious the room was—the biggest we've seen on our holiday—and it was very affordable. The owner and his son welcomed us like family, and Padmathilaka is the kindest man in Sri Lanka!

The location was good for visiting Hiriketiya, and having a rented scooter made everything more comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and friendly; the older gentleman even offered us some of his food upon arrival and repaired our helmet when it broke! We had Wi‑Fi in the room and the rooms are super large. Unfortunately, there was no hot water.

The place is quiet and peaceful with pretty gardens, and the room is huge with a comfy bed and a kettle. Manuka was super responsive on WhatsApp, helped with everything, even arranged a tuk‑tuk to the beach. The evening meal we booked was delicious and great value, though we couldn't finish it all. It’s a solid spot for value if you want to stay away from Dickwella’s main tourist area. A couple of cups in the room would have been handy.

Manuk was incredibly kind and welcoming, more so than anywhere else on our trip. He serves authentic dishes made by his grandmother for breakfast and dinner—very tasty, highly recommend!

“Süße Unterkunft die etwas abgelegen ist”

Everything was clean and well equipped. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating, helping us get to the bus station and ensuring a good stay. It is a bit remote, so you always have to take a tuk‑tuk everywhere—nothing the accommodation can do about that.
