“Topp Unterkunft an einem gigantischen Strand”
We stayed at Karpaha Sands again after a 6‑night visit two years earlier, this time for 10 nights in a Beach Bungalow Palam 6. The hotel sits on a wide, palm‑lined beach that’s the only one in the area, so the crowds are minimal except for the local fishermen we could watch while they caught and sold their fish directly to the hotel. There are plenty of loungers, each topped with fresh towels daily, and whenever we lay down we were handed fresh water. In the afternoon a small sweet treat was always offered free of charge. The beach also features swings and hammocks that make great photo spots. Our bungalow was spacious, just as shown in the pictures, and we had a personal contact, Namal, who was given a spare phone so we could send him any requests directly. Namal was always helpful and courteous. The large pool was another highlight. The only downside was that the dogs could be a bit noisy at night and were always nearby.
