The spot was spot on – just a 5‑minute walk to the heart of Times Square – and the noise was acceptable. The bed and pillows felt very comfortable, but the bathroom looked old‑fashioned with a shower curtain, and breakfast was bland and repetitive. There was no gym, spa, bar, or anything else of that sort.

The location and friendly staff were good, but we booked a room for three people for eight nights and the accommodation was far from adequate. The worst problem was the third bed: it wasn’t a real bed but a very short, hard sofa that was absolutely unsuitable for sleeping comfortably. Having to sleep on that sofa for eight nights was a huge discomfort, especially since the room was booked for three people. Additionally, the bathroom sink clogged continuously, practically every five minutes, forcing us to wait for the water to drain before using it again. The continental breakfast was also a major disappointment. The selection was extremely limited: practically only apples as fruit, no cereal, and only cow’s milk, plus almost exclusively pre‑packaged, not fresh items. The bagels were hard and practically inedible. Moreover, they used disposable cups and cutlery, which left us very perplexed. The breakfast room was also extremely small; in the morning there were so many people that guests had to queue to find a seat. Another. Booking listed that the room had a TV with internet access, but in reality this service was not available as described.
