“Wonderfully remote near Bacau with good food”
A perfect spot for a family gathering near Bacău, yet it feels wonderfully remote. We stayed here for two days in the autumn with eight people and a dog, and the place met all our needs. Inside there was plenty of space with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a huge private garden surrounded by nature that offered amazing views. The outdoor area felt safe with a fenced property, making it dog‑friendly. The property also has an on‑request restaurant serving delicious traditional food—ask for the menu and book in advance. The owners were incredibly kind and did everything to make us feel welcome. Overall, the location and experience surpassed our expectations. Bonus: sheep roamed around the property, which was very relaxing to watch. It is remote, with a narrow gravel road leading to the cabin, and the internet connection is basic—not fast enough for remote work, though it may improve later; check with the property for updates. Some landscaping work is in progress; a large pond is under construction. The view isn’t the best, but it didn’t bother us.
