Parking was empty, yet the hotel charged for it – the first time I’ve seen that. The fee was higher than nearby public parking and I couldn’t understand the policy. I don’t recommend it.

The staff were friendly and the bathtub was large, which I liked, but the cleaning left something to be desired—it seemed they didn’t mop properly.

The spot wasn’t close to the airport, which was a problem for me since I wanted to be near the terminal. The front desk didn’t speak English, so checking in was a hassle; better language support would help international travelers.

Being inside Wolmido made it easy to take the kids to Pororo Park and the ample parking was a plus, yet everything else fell short of expectations, lowering our satisfaction; the wooden hallway by the elevator creaked loudly as if it were old, and unlike other hotels they only provided one type of towel for both hands and face, which felt unhygienic; the staff weren’t rude but lacked the smooth, comfortable service you’d expect, and the overall service and facilities didn’t match the building’s exterior or size, giving the place more of a motel vibe; moreover, I felt cheated on the rate—booking the Mountain Twin Room for two adults and one child (2‑year‑old, actually 30 months) through the reservation site, the site clearly said a 2‑year‑old stays free, yet on arrival they charged an extra 10,000 won, claiming a 2‑year‑old is only up to 24 months and my 30‑month child needed to pay; this felt like a scam and left me very disappointed, paying more than expected and getting no value for money, so I hope future guests take note.

The room was spacious and the location was great; despite mixed reviews that made me nervous, the room turned out large and clean, with many restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance, and because my kids love the Korean anime Pororo and Tayo, we chose this hotel for its proximity—just about a five‑minute walk to the theme park, which was a lot of fun, and there was nothing to complain about.
