The location was peaceful with a view of the golf course and only a few minutes' drive to the charming town of Stirling, plus great walking trails close by that you can reach on foot from the hotel, yet we stayed with family in four rooms, two of which had roof leaks, the bathrooms needed an upgrade, and the supply of toilet paper and tea was insufficient for a 3‑night stay.

Breakfast wasn’t offered, which would have been handy. The scenery was beautiful, and the self‑service system worked well. The facilities are very old and clearly need an upgrade.

The birdlife was amazing and the trees around the golf fairways were beautiful; the bed was large, comfortable, and the room was clean. The AC was noisy, which forced us to choose between using it or staying cold all night.
