The lodge sits in a superb spot, the rooms are comfy with soft, large beds, and the staff are attentive; the owner is very friendly. The homemade bread at breakfast is simply amazing, and the overall value makes it worth the price.

We were welcomed by the owner, who is very friendly and helpful, and she gave us all the local tips. Breakfast can be simple yet very refined—one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. It’s close to Rua da Xêpa, so we could walk there. This is actually my second stay here, and if we return to Gostoso it will be the third!

I liked the billiards area and the veranda was very comfortable, plus the parking space for cars was spacious. The cat was cute. The TV wasn’t smart and the pool was dirty.
