It was a room. The TV was faulty and I reported it to the owner with no response. Other residents were throwing up in the morning with the bathroom doors open, which was very uncomfortable. The bed was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with only a microwave to prepare evening meals.

I liked the kitchen space and dining area. Perfect during the week when working away from home. I liked the breakfast provision being accessible 24/7. The room was big. Nice place. The doors slammed. The mattress was a little old/uncomfortable.

Conveniently situated for me, but the rooms were on the smaller side, especially the loft ones, and I wasn’t told that some rooms shared a toilet and shower. The kitchen let me have tea or coffee anytime, yet there were no mugs to brew it in.

Good location with a short walk into Old Harlow. Self‑service breakfast. Some guests didn’t wash their pots and left a mess. No hand towels in the room.

The location was good, and the single‑room photos showed a shower, but the bathroom on my landing was so dim that I had to use my phone’s torch, and I had to go down to the floor below to shower.
