If you want to stay in a historic setting, this is the spot; the authentic preservation and tasteful, high‑quality renovation are spot on, and the dinner is superb regional fare full of pleasant surprises.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms are rustic but well refurbished, and there’s a patio and a communal dining area to unwind after a good hike; breakfast is excellent with local products, but the accommodation is very far from main roads and hard to reach, and in August the on‑site restaurant was closed, forcing guests to travel far for meals.
The breakfast was great, the atmosphere was cozy and calm, and Stefano was very hospitable and friendly. The only downside was the parking: there are more spots, but they’re small and often occupied.

Stefano and his family welcomed us warmly, gave clear instructions for a late arrival, and the breakfast was tasty. The location was quiet and charming, and having access to the kitchen and lounge for relaxed evenings was a big plus. No issues at all.
