We couldn't actually stay because when we arrived they tried to charge us an extra $160 that we didn't have. We later received a refund that was more than $40 short, which was frustrating as a struggling soon‑to‑be parent trying to stay close to work to save on gas.

The room was clean and the staff were responsive, with no major hassles except for the check‑in. I had a reservation and arrived around my stated time, but the front‑desk man took an unusually long time to “find me a room.” He mentioned the place would be “packed starting tomorrow,” which made me think he didn’t actually have a room for me. After confirming my reservation was on file, he spent about five minutes scrolling through the computer screen, leaving me with the impression the hotel was over‑booked for the weekend and that I, arriving on a Wednesday night, would be the one to suffer. In the end, the room assigned to me was above the lobby and closest to the highway, so the traffic noise was noticeable.
