I've had the pleasure of staying at this lodge, which is currently undergoing a rebuild under new ownership. The standout experience was the exceptional service provided by Manager Chantel, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable despite some initial issues. Her proactive approach, including calling 24 hours prior to our arrival to discuss weather updates and safety measures, truly impressed me.
“A Retreat with Some Room for Improvement”
I appreciated the retreat-like atmosphere of this lodge, which was enhanced by the friendly staff. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms and dishes, which weren't properly cleaned before my departure. The pool was also a letdown, with greenish water that seemed to contain algae and, unfortunately, a dead frog floating in it, which made me hesitant to swim. To top it off, there was no cell network available.

The Wi-Fi connectivity was poor within the cabin, and it only worked when we were closer to the door or outside.
